📍 Location: The Showgrounds Sydney Olympic Park

Arrival Times ⏰

Each team has their own specific arrival time. It is really important that you arrive on time, as this is when the team runs through their routines and prepares with their coach before heading backstage. We will post the meeting spot on Band, so please make sure you are on the app. All students need to come with full hair and makeup, dressed in their costume.

🎟️ Wristband Collection:

All athletes need a wristband to enter the competition and go backstage. Athletes must individually collect their wristbands from the athlete check in desk before their first arrival time. Please note that each athlete only receives one wristband for the entire weekend, so do not remove it until you have finished competing and watching the competition, as we do not have spares.

What to Pack for Your Athlete

Note: Parents are not allowed backstage as event producers only allow checked staff and athletes.

Your athlete will need to have everything in their bag - this needs to be a back pack that they are capable of carrying themselves.

💧 Water: Stay hydrated throughout the event.

👟 Dance/Cheer Shoes: Appropriate footwear for the performance.

🩳 Spare Stockings: In case of rips or tears.

💄 Makeup: Ensure all necessary items are packed.

💇‍♀️ Hair Gel/Hairspray: To keep hair in place.

📎 Bobby Pins: For securing hairstyles.

🧷 Safety Pins: For any costume emergencies.

🧥 NRG Jacket: To stay warm when not performing.
Please make sure everything is labeled to avoid mix-ups.

Presentation Uniform:

All students will need to wear their NRG Jacket and tights for the presentation. Hair should be neat, and they should wear either white or black shoes to look polished and presentable.

If you don’t have the NRG Jacket, please wear your black NRG T-Shirt or the old-style Jacket. If you are still waiting on the 2025 tights, you can wear plain black tights for the presentation.

Please remember that all students are expected to attend their team's presentation in order to collect their medal unless they are participating with another team or if it is exceptionally late and we have instructed that it is ok to leave- to see if this is your team, check your individual team list.
